We Rent Window Units and Room Heaters by Week
Our process is simple
Order a window unit or room heater, pay $120 deposit
Once your order is accepted, we will drop an unit off at your doorstep within 24 hours anywhere in the DMV.
Stay comfortable, pay $20/week/unit
Place or install your unit, plug it in, and enjoy for as long as you need it. We deduct $20/week/unit from your deposit.
Tell us to pick it up, get your money back
Once your AC/heat is fixed or you don't need the unit anymore, text us and we will pick it up from outside your home within 24 hours. We will return the remaining balance of your deposit.

Our Story
DC AC Rentals is a side business project, started by a father and son when our AC went out in the summer of 2020. Due to Covid, parts for our AC repair took 6 weeks, so we decided to get 2-3 window units to keep us cool while we waited, but the limited supply made them crazy expensive. So we found a couple of broken ones, fixed them up, and used them until our home AC was fixed. After, we figured others may have similar issues, so we started renting them out. Our fleet of 3 AC units is now 10 AC units and 14 heaters!
